Office Security: The building has a 24-hour security guard, who will admit clients to the office after the building’s front doors are locked for security reasons at 6 PM. When you arrive downstairs at the ground level, catch the eye of the security guard through the glass outer door; sometimes the security guard steps away, so please await the guard’s return. After normal business hours, the security guard will let you in downstairs and operate the elevator for you to fifth floor. At Suite 503, you will buzz from the outer office door. Ed will buzz you in, and he will meet you in the waiting room for your scheduled appointment. There is no reception staff.

Transportation Access: The office of Lawyer Career Consulting DC is easily accessible by Metrorail, at Farragut North on the Red Line (take the L Street exit) or at Farragut West on the Blue/Orange line (take the 17th Street exit, and walk diagonally across Farragut Square to 17th and L). On-street meter parking is difficult during the day, but becomes available briefly at 9:30 AM and again at 6:30 PM, after rush hour. Beware of rush-hour and other parking restrictions. Parking garages are readily available. If you are scheduled to begin or end a consultation at rush hour, it’s usually better to take the train, or plan to stay later until rush hour passes. Office Hours: Office hours vary on different days, but typically begin on weekdays at 7:30 or 8:30 AM and may include evening hours. Client appointments are not scheduled on weekends or major holidays.
